Parent-Teacher Association
The Friends of Oakworth Primary School is a group set up to organise and help run events to raise funds for the school.
It is made up of parents and staff. The type of events we run include the Christmas and Summer Fayres and discos for the children. The group relies on the help and goodwill of the staff at the school to ensure these events run smoothly.
All proceeds from these events go to help the school providing funds for much-needed resources. The Friends group has recently provided money for much-needed lockers and for CDT equipment.
We have a core of around eight or so active members currently, but always welcome help from any parent who is prepared to get involved in any way.
